Children’s Technopark Quantorium «Druzhba»

Quantoriums children can learn the basics of engineering professions demanded on the labor market, to acquire knowledge and practical skills in robotics, computer science and information security, design and development of unmanned aerial vehicles, industrial design and nanomaterials.

The connection between educational programs and real technological challenges allows students to take educational modules and implement projects understanding of the entire process chain from design to implementation.

A priority of this project is to grow up generations of inventors who will apply not only technical skills, but also a project approach, have critical, creative and productive thinking.

Druzhba Quantorium will consist of the following zones:
— A special workshop of high-tech equipment for general use (HI-TECH shop). The workshop is divided into 4 parts: Primary machining workshop, assembly workshops for platforms and mechanisms, radio and 3D printing;
— 5 laboratories (Roboquantum, IT Quantum, Industrial Design, Qeroquantum, Nanoquantum);
— A lecture hall (conference hall);
— A training ground more than 320 sq. m in area or testing devices and mechanisms. The ground will be equipped with modern test facilities and competition fields, allowing users to configure and test created equipment and conduct regional and national stages of the competition. This area will also run an interactive museum;
— An interactive exhibition of students’ projects in the break area;
— Co-working space for technology startups.

In 2018 and 2019, Energyquantum and Cosmoquantum laboratories are planned to be equipped.

The Ryazan region is among 17 subjects of the Russian Federation that won the contest for the right to receive subsidies to create a children’s technopark in 2017. The subsidy rates allocated from the Federal budget to the Ryazan region are approved by the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation from January 26, 2017 No. 110-R.
